Any available classmates will be recruited as needed as background extras for outdoor and office scenes. Some front office staff, teachers, and administrator personnel like Mr. Feldman, Ellis, etc. may be recruited if they are available to add ambience and realism. 


Crew:
David Le (myself) as cinematographer, scriptwriter, storyboarder, editor, etc. (basically all of the roles needed behind the scenes to do this project as a solo effort)


Production Schedule:

Days subject to change and be flexible as needed for efficiency. Shooting schedule may be completed faster than expected if things go to plan.

2/20, 2/23: classrooms on campus for opening shots

2/24, 2/25: campus quad for tracking and walking scenes

2/26, 2/27: front office, front office mailroom, administrator offices

2/28, 3/2: Reshooting any scenes as needed

     AICE Media Studies, quite an interesting class it is when you consider that it is not your average curriculum class. A type of movie I would like to make could be something along the lines of a mystery, and probably toss in some elements of suspense in the process. Mystery movies are quite interesting when you consider how everything can be unexplained, hidden meanings and trivial elements in plain (or not) sight, and the potential for action. Let's face it, we have probably seen a movie (or book, or TV show, I guess) before that starts off with someone or something missing, and the piece of work proceeds and slowly but surely reveals more details, clues, and suspense along the way. Film Editing Project

Transitions: ellipsis, shot/reverse shot, flash forward, point of view shot, graphic match cut, fading in/out. Under your video, you should have a 10-12 sentence paragraph describing what you learned, the process of the project, and what role you played: David's AICE Media Studies AS Editing Project Video In the process of this project, I learned a useful things about video editing and learning/getting hands on experience with video editing for the first time with software and technology that is designed for the purpose using CapCut. I learned how video editing works in the sense of moving around, reducing lengths of shots as needed (to omit elements such as me saying "action" or unneeded footage) to create a seamless transition/flow as possible. Media Reflection #4: Representation Responsibilities

For this post, please consider and reflect on your responsibilities as a filmmaker when it comes to the groups of people represented in your film. Do you feel you have a responsibility to represent groups of people "correctly" when creating media products? Do you feel that other filmmakers have represented groups of people in their films well in the past?
